Students Respond: Part 2!

Great posts on the previous topic! I have a feeling that you'll see that poem again sometime in high school...

NEW TOPIC!!! There are a ton of websites out there that I am sure you go to daily to check different stuff, from social networking to sports to news, etc. You have two choices to respond to:

1. What sites do you use that really help you with your schoolwork (any class)? Why are they so helpful? (Provide links if you know how!)

2. Which sites that you use need you to have good reading/writing skills? Why is this so? (Once again, provide links if you know how!)

RESPOND TO 1 OF THESE QUESTIONS IN 2-4 SENTENCES, AND RESPOND TO AT LEAST ONE OTHER STUDENT!

Students Respond!

What do you think the message/theme/moral of this poem is?  Respond in the comments in 2-4 sentences, and respond constructively to at least one other student's comment!

"The Road Not Taken"

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
